Festa Junina

Festa Junina, also known as the June Festival, is a vibrant and colorful celebration in Brazil that pays homage to rural life and Catholic saints. Originating in Portugal, the festival is held annually in June to celebrate St. John the Baptist, St. Anthony, and St. Peter. It is characterized by traditional folk dances, such as the quadrilha, and games like the pau-de-sebo.
